Whatever brings you here

You may come to therapy with one particular concern, and find that other parts of your life begin to make more sense alongside it. If what you are experiencing is not listed below, that does not mean it is not something we can explore together.

For whom?

Who I work with

I offer therapy to adolescents (aged 12 and above) and adults, from any background and age.

For Adolescents

Being a teenager can be confusing and intense. You are changing quickly and trying to make sense of friendships, family, your body and where you fit.

Things like peer pressure, academic stress, loneliness, low self-esteem, conflict at home, grief, trauma or simply feeling lost can all become overwhelming. These experiences are often part of coming into your own, especially when life feels complicated.

Therapy can offer a private space to talk about what is happening without feeling judged, rushed or told what you should be feeling. You do not need to have everything worked out, we can figure things out together, at your pace.

For Adults

Who said you needed to have it all figured out as an adult? Adult life can bring its own periods of uncertainty, pressure and change. You may be dealing with anxiety, grief, difficult relationships, family expectations, loneliness, past experiences, burnout, identity questions or simply a sense that something in your life no longer feels right.

Sometimes it is enough to want a space to think, feel and understand yourself more clearly.

Together, we can explore the patterns that may be shaping your life and what might help you feel more connected to yourself and the life you want to live.

Particular areas of interest

Where I have particular experience

Multilingual Therapy

In English, Hindi/Urdu, Gujarati

There can be something immediately reassuring about hearing your own language in the therapy room. Sometimes, a little of the anxiety drops before the conversation has even properly begun.

In multilingual therapy, you do not have to constantly search for the "right" English word or monitor how your words might be understood.

Sessions are available in English, Hindi/Urdu and Gujarati, and you are welcome to move between languages naturally. The aim is for you to bring as much of yourself into the room as possible.

Women's Reproductive & Hormonal Health

Changes in our bodies can affect far more than our physical health. PMS, PCOS, endometriosis, pregnancy and the postpartum period, maternal mental health, fertility experiences and menopause can overlap with changes in mood, identity, relationships, confidence and how at home you feel in your own body.

There is still far too little space for women to talk openly about these experiences without being undermined or accused of exaggerating. You may even find yourself questioning whether what you are feeling is "real enough" to deserve support.

I do not provide medical diagnosis or treatment. What I can offer is a space to make sense of what is happening emotionally alongside what is happening physically, to talk about anger, grief, fear, exhaustion, changes in sexuality or identity, resentment, uncertainty, or anything else that may come with it.

Ethics & Privacy

Ethics, Confidentiality & Your Privacy

What you share in therapy is treated with care and confidentiality. I work within professional ethical guidelines, attend regular clinical supervision and hold appropriate professional indemnity insurance.

There are some limits to confidentiality, for example where there are serious concerns about your safety or someone else's, safeguarding responsibilities, or where disclosure is legally required. We will talk through confidentiality and its limits clearly before beginning therapy, so you know what to expect.

Your personal information and clinical records are stored securely and handled in accordance with relevant UK data-protection requirements. Full details are available in my Therapy Agreement.

Not sure where you fit?

That is a common place to start. A short conversation usually makes it clearer.
